Online Option

The Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering can be pursued on-campus and online. The application process is the same for both options. You will simply select the online program when you are applying.

Online students will complete the same degree requirements as on-campus students and those requirements can be found on our Curriculum and Advising page. Online students receive the exact same degree as on-campus students. Elective options for online students are limited, and students interested in the online program should contact us to learn about their options.

The Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering is a self-funded program where students are responsible for paying their tuition and fees. Students in this program are not eligible for Board of Trustee (BOT) tuition-waiver-generating assistantships at the University of Illinois.
